New York High School Basketball - Bishop Loughlin nips St. Edmund Prep

In Sunday's non-league contest, the host Bishop Loughlin Lions basketball team scored a close 64-60 triumph over the St. Edmund Prep Eagles.
The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Nazareth (Brooklyn, NY). The Kingsmen go into the Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Nazareth nipped Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR), 65-51, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Fordham Prep Rams (Bronx, NY) in a Catholic A contest, on Tuesday, December 17. St. Edmund Prep will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 63-62 league loss to Xavier (New York, NY).
