The De La Salle Meteors basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Crete-Monee Warriors to 36 in the Meteors non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Meteors now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host St. Francis for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. De La Salle will confront a Spartans team coming off a 52-41 non-league win over Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Crete-Monee falls to 5-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Thornridge (Dolton, IL) to confront the Falcons in a Southland game on Friday, December 13. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 2-5. Thornridge lost 89-72 in their recent league game against Kankakee (Kankakee, IL)
