The Knoch Knights ran past the host McDowell Trojans basketball team by a margin of 58-49 in Sunday's non-league contest.

The Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Valley (New Kensington, PA). The Vikings go into the WPIAL 4A 1 contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Valley topped Apollo Ridge (Spring Church, PA), 49-41, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) in a District 10 Region 7 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. McDowell will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 70-42 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, PA).
