California High School Basketball - Banning held off by West Valley

In Monday's non-league bout, the West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA) basketball team edged the host Banning Broncos (Banning, CA), by a tally of 80-74.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to San Bernardino for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 10. West Valley will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 92-58 non-league win over Arroyo Valley (San Bernardino, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-4.

The Broncos (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Rubidoux (Jurupa Valley, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Rubidoux was nipped by Tahquitz (Hemet, CA), 46-40, in a non-league test.
