The Mendota Aztecs basketball squad scored 74 points and held the visiting Caruthers Blue Raiders to 44 in the Aztecs non-league victory on Monday.
Next, the Aztecs clash with the Liberty Hawks (Madera, CA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, December 11. Mendota will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Hawks enter the outing with a 4-5 record after their 85-10 non-league win over Central (Fresno, CA).
The Blue Raiders (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Riverdale (Riverdale, CA). The Cowboys enter the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Riverdale was overwhelmed by Orosi (Orosi, CA), 67-61, in a non-league outing.
