Texas High School Basketball - Chisholm Trail Academy thwarts Mercy Culture Prep

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Chisholm Trail Academy Blazers (Keene, TX) and the visiting Mercy Culture Prep Royals (Fort Worth, TX), observed Chisholm Trail Academy's basketball team knock off Mercy Culture Prep by a score of 86-77.

The Blazers (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Highlands (Irving, TX). The Blazers enter the TAPPS 3A District 2 battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Highlands lost by Heritage Christian (Rockwall, TX), 61-26, in a non-league battle.

The Royals now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvary Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 11. Mercy Culture Prep will meet a Lions squad coming off a 66-51 non-league loss to Ovilla Christian (Red Oak, TX). The Lions record now stands at 4-6.
