Lamoni Demons (Lamoni, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA), 77-59 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lamoni upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Demons host Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA) to face the Eagles in a Bluegrass match on Tuesday, December 9. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 1-1. Moulton-Udell won 62-41 in their recent league match against Murray (Murray, IA)
The Falcons now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Union for a Pride of Iowa game on Tuesday, December 9. Wayne will confront a Eagles team coming off a 83-55 league loss to Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
