The Serra Catholic Eagles basketball team (McKeesport, PA), was knocked off 50-39 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA)

The Chargers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Wolverine enter the WPIAL 3A 1 battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Ellwood City was outscored by South Side (Hookstown, PA), 42-27, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. Serra Catholic will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 64-35 non-league loss to West Allegheny (Imperial, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
