The Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) basketball were winner over the host East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA), 44-24 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Bruins now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Granite Bay for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11. Ponderosa will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 44-23 non-league win over Roseville (Roseville, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-1.

The Lancers (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Sonora beat Summerville (Tuolumne, CA), 26-21, in a non-league test.
