The Copiah Academy Colonels soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders to 3 in the Colonels non-league victory on Monday.
The Colonels now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Jackson Prep for a bout on Thursday, December 11. Copiah Academy will face a Patriots team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Christ Covenant (Ridgeland, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 3-0.
The Crusaders (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Muddy River HomeSchool (Jackson, MS). The Counselors enter the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Muddy River HomeSchool by East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS), 7-1, in a non-league game.
