Arizona High School Basketball - Gilbert tops Horizon

December 9, 2021: Scottsdale, AZ 85254

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ) and the host Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ), saw Gilbert's basketball squad knock off Horizon by a count of 61-45.

With the victory, Gilbert upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Ironwood (Glendale, AZ) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 10. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Huskies play the Sierra Linda Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 14. Horizon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 70-39 non-league loss to Canyon View (Waddell, AZ).
