The Homestead Mustangs basketball team (Cupertino, CA), was nudged 71-64 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA)
The Panthers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Silver Creek for a non-league battle on Friday, December 10. Prospect will battle a Raiders team coming off a 55-29 non-league win over Overfelt (San Jose, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-0.
The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Overfelt (San Jose, CA). The Royals come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Overfelt was nudged by Silver Creek (San Jose, CA), 55-29, in a non-league battle.
