Huffman Vikings (Birmingham, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL), 39-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Huffman upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL) to clash with the Mounties in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Mounties go into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 13. Thompson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
