Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Canutillo Eagles (Canutillo, TX), 49-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Aledo upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Timber Creek won 44-40 in their recent non-league bout against Celina (Celina, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Keller Central Chargers (Keller, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Canutillo will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 62-60 non-league loss to Richland (North Richland Hills, TX).
