The Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA), 59-55 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons go into the District 2 test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Langley was tipped by Falls Church (Falls Church, VA), 65-58, in a non-league test.
The Atoms now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lewis for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Annandale will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 54-51 non-league loss to West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 0-3.
