With the victory, Monroe Area improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Purple Hurricanes travel to Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA) to confront the Bulldoggs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Bulldoggs come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Winder-Barrow lost 76-64 in their recent league challenge against Heritage (Conyers, GA)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Apalachee will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 57-52 non-league win over Riverside Military Academy (Gainesville, GA).
