Colorado High School Basketball - Aspen knocked off by Montrose

The Montrose Red Hawks basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Aspen Skiers to 42 in the Red Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Red Hawks now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faith Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Montrose will battle a Eagles team coming off a 73-36 non-league win over Moffat County (Craig, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.

The Skiers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Conifer (Conifer, CO). The Lobos enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Conifer ran past Basalt (Basalt, CO), 59-56, in a non-league contest.
