Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bark River-Harris Broncos (Harris, MI), 58-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Gladstone upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Negaunee (Negaunee, MI) to play the Miners in a non-league bout on Monday, December 12. The Miners come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Negaunee won 63-24 in their recent league bout against Gwinn (Gwinn, MI)

Next up, the Broncos play the Rapid River Rockets (Rapid River, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Bark River-Harris will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 63-36 non-league loss to North Central (Powers, MI).
