Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 64-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Barrington upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Central (Providence, RI) to play the Knights in a State Championship bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Huskies play the Toll Gate Titans (Warwick, RI) in a Division 2 bout, on Friday, December 16. Mt. Hope will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
