The Ben Lippen Falcons (Columbia, SC) basketball nipped the host Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC), 67-64 in Friday's non-league test.
The Falcons (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Northwood Academy got by Hammond (Columbia, SC), 51-45, in a non-league test.
The Cyclones now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Goose Creek for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Porter-Gaud will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 54-46 non-league win over West Ashley (Charleston, SC). The Gators record now stands at 7-0.
