Virginia High School Basketball - Collegiate knocked off by Benedictine

The Benedictine Cadets basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Collegiate Cougars to 53 in the Cadets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cadets now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Steward for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Benedictine will battle a Spartans team coming off a 66-48 non-league loss to Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-2.
The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA). The enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Banner Christian ran past Amelia Academy (Amelia Court House, VA), 99-37, in a league contest.
