The Benedictine Bengals basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Grand River Academy to 64 in the Bengals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bengals now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDowell for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Benedictine will battle a Trojans team coming off a 54-51 non-league win over Hudson (Hudson, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 2-2.

Next up, the play the Brookfield Warriors (Brookfield, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Grand River Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 71-59 non-league win over Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH).
