Boonville Pioneers (Boonville, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Tecumseh Braves (Lynnville, IN), 76-67 in a league bout.

With the victory, Boonville upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Pike Central (Petersburg, IN) to play the Chargers in a Pocket bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Pike Central won 56-50 in their recent league bout against Southridge (Huntingburg, IN)

Next up, the Braves play the Tell City Marksmen (Tell City, IN) in a Pocket bout, on Friday, December 16. Tecumseh will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Marksmen come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 73-28 non-league loss to Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN).
