Brennan Bears (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Clark Cougars (San Antonio, TX), 58-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brennan upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Bears travel to Taft (San Antonio, TX) to play the Raiders in a 6A Region IV District 29 bout on Friday, December 16. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Taft lost 82-81 in their recent non-league bout against Rockwall (Rockwall, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Marshall Rams (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 bout, on Friday, December 16. Clark will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 66-64 non-league win over United (Laredo, TX).
