The Erwin Warriors basketball team (Asheville, NC), was overwhelmed 73-43 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC)

The Blue Devils now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pisgah for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 13. Brevard will battle a Bears team coming off a 84-76 league win over Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Bears record now stands at 2-3.

The Warriors (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Enka (Enka, NC). The Jets come into the 3A/4A Conference 53 battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Enka trounced Daniel Boone (Gray, TN), 94-78, in a non-league battle.
