Georgia High School Basketball - Lee-Scott Academy nips Brookstone

December 9, 2022: Columbus, GA 31904

Lee-Scott Academy Warriors (Auburn, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Brookstone Cougars (Columbus, GA), 54-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lee-Scott Academy upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Southland Academy (Americus, GA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-0.

Next up, the Cougars play the Kendrick Cherokees (Columbus, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Brookstone will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Cherokees go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 81-47 non-league win over Marion County (Buena Vista, GA).
