The Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting Summerfield Rebels (Summerfield, LA), 54-35 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Comeaux (Lafayette, LA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Comeaux notched a victory over Tara (Baton Rouge, LA), 56-19, in a non-league test.
The Rebels now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Doyline for a non-league test on Monday, December 19.
