Texas High School Basketball - Center thwarts Hitchcock

The Center Roughriders (Center, TX) basketball were winner over the host Hitchcock Bulldogs (Hitchcock, TX), 56-48 in Friday's non-league contest.

The Roughriders now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to LaPoynor for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Center will meet a Flyers team coming off a 70-45 non-league win over Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX). The Flyers record now stands at 10-4.

The Bulldogs (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Central Heights was defeated by LaPoynor (LaRue, TX), 70-45, in a non-league contest.
