The Howe Lions basketball team (Howe, OK), was overwhelmed 78-52 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC)
The Braves now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berryhill for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 10. Cherokee will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 82-73 non-league win over Riverside Indian (Anadarko, OK). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-2.
The Lions (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Central (Sallisaw, OK). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
