In Friday's league outing, the Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD) basketball squad edged the visiting Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Lions (Laurel, MD), by a count of 68-66.
The Clippers (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Bowie (Bowie, MD). The Bulldogs go into the Prince George's County 4A outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Bowie held off Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD), 55-51, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now hold a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bladensburg for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 13. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North will face a Mustangs team coming off a 73-60 non-league win over Central (Capitol Heights, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
