The Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado (Paducah, KY) basketball nipped the host Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY), 62-61 in Friday's non-league test.
The Blue Tornado (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Community Christian (Paducah, KY). The Warriors go into the District 2 test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Community Christian was tipped by Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY), 83-79, in a non-league test.
The Colonels now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lyon County for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Christian County will encounter a Lyons squad coming off a 85-38 league win over Crittenden County (Marion, KY). The Lyons record now stands at 4-1.
