Gatesville Hornets (Gatesville, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Comanche Indians (Comanche, TX), 71-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Gatesville upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX) to play the Bumblebees in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Bumblebees come into the bout with a record of 9-3. Little River Academy won 46-37 in their recent non-league bout against Cisco (Cisco, TX)

Next up, the Indians play the Coleman Bluecats (Coleman, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Comanche will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Bluecats come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 60-38 non-league win over Lake View (San Angelo, TX).
