Mountain View Yellowjackets (Mountain View, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Concord Pirates (Concord, AR), 70-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mountain View upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Melbourne (Melbourne, AR) to play the Bearkatz in a 3A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Bearkatz come into the bout with a record of 0-5. Melbourne lost 55-40 in their recent league bout against Newport (Newport, AR)

Next up, the Pirates play the Timbo Tigers (Timbo, AR) in a 1A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Concord will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 66-47 league loss to Shirley (Shirley, AR).
