Victoria East Titans (Victoria, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX), 76-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Victoria East upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Fort Bend Kempner won 51-41 in their recent non-league bout against La Marque (La Marque, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Tidehaven Tigers (El Maton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Danbury will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 70-29 non-league loss to Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX).
