Oregon High School Basketball - South Umpqua tops Elmira

South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Elmira Falcons (Elmira, OR), 45-33 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, South Umpqua upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Lancers host La Pine (La Pine, OR) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Falcons play the Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Elmira will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 44-28 non-league loss to Catlin Gabel (Portland, OR).
