Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Southeast Valley Jaguars (Gowrie, IA), 65-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Emmetsburg upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The E'Hawks travel to West Hancock (Britt, IA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, December 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA) in a Twin Lakes bout, on Monday, December 12. Southeast Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 75-58 league win over Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA).
