Texas High School Basketball - Sundown knocked off by Farwell

The Farwell Steers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Sundown Roughnecks to 45 in the Steers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Steers now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Littlefield for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Farwell will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 61-52 non-league win over Portales (Portales, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.

The Roughnecks (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Portales (Portales, NM). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Portales was outscored by Littlefield (Littlefield, TX), 61-52, in a non-league contest.
