George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV), 73-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, George Washington upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Holy Family (Ashland, KY) to play the Irish in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Irish come into the bout with a record of 5-0.

Next up, the Red Devils play the Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV) in a Coalfield AA bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Oak Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
