Texas High School Basketball - Lake Country Christian can't hold off Gilmer

The Gilmer Buckeyes basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Lake Country Christian Eagles to 65 in the Buckeyes non-league triumph on Friday.
The Buckeyes now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Life Waxahachie for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Gilmer will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 68-59 non-league win over Mabank (Mabank, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-4.
The Eagles (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Wills Point (Wills Point, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Wills Point nudged Gilmer (Gilmer, TX), 54-36, in a non-league contest.
