The South Lakes Seahawks basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Herndon Hornets to 61 in the Seahawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Seahawks now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wakefield for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 14.

The Hornets (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA). The Generals enter the District 2 contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Washington-Liberty ran past Centreville (Clifton, VA), 54-33, in a non-league contest.
