The Tomball Cougars basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Humble Wildcats to 72 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alief Hastings for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Tomball will meet a Bears team coming off a 45-27 non-league loss to Vandegrift (Austin, TX). The Bears record now stands at 1-9.

The Wildcats (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against West Brook (Beaumont, TX). The Bruins enter the 6A Region III District 21 contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, West Brook ran past Hutto (Hutto, TX), 76-54, in a non-league contest.
