In Friday's non-league outing, the Telfair County Trojans (McRae, GA) basketball squad felled the visiting Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA), by a margin of 75-61.

The Trojans (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA). The Red Devils go into the A D2 Region 4 outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Hawkinsville was beaten by Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA), 64-41, in a league outing.

The Yellowjackets now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Appling County for a non-league match on Saturday, December 10. Jeff Davis will meet a Pirates team coming off a 59-50 non-league loss to Wayne County (Jesup, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.
