The Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) basketball crushed the host Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL), 77-40 in Friday's non-league test.
The Knights (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Indians go into the Interstate Eight test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Sandwich walloped Morris (Morris, IL), 49-33, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Timothy Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Marengo will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 64-29 league win over Westmont (Westmont, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 3-3.
