The West Hardin Oilers basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Kirbyville Wildcats to 51 in the Oilers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Oilers now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broaddus for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. West Hardin will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 41-39 non-league win over Warren (Warren, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-8.
The Wildcats (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bob Hope (Port Arthur, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Bob Hope triumphed over Spurger (Spurger, TX), 70-61, in a non-league contest.
