Lewistown Indians (Lewistown, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Peoria Heights Patriots (Peoria Heights, IL), 56-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lewistown upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Patriots play the Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Peoria Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 46-36 league win over Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL).
