Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Sabine Pass Sharks (Sabine Pass, TX), 67-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Liberty upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Shepherd (Shepherd, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Shepherd lost 82-40 in their recent non-league bout against Orangefield (Orangefield, TX)

Next up, the Sharks play the Burkeville Mustangs (Burkeville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Sabine Pass will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
