The Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX) basketball knocked off the host Midland Classical Academy Knights (Midland, TX), 30-20 in Friday's non-league test.
The Westerners (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Borger (Borger, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Borger went down by Seminole (Seminole, TX), 53-21, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Forsan for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Midland Classical Academy will encounter a Buffaloes squad coming off a 54-31 non-league win over Coahoma (Coahoma, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-4.
