Illinois High School Basketball - Normal Community can't hold off Manual

December 9, 2022: Normal, IL 61761

The Manual Rams basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Normal Community Ironmen to 36 in the Rams league victory on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galesburg for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Manual will battle a Silver Streaks team coming off a 68-51 league loss to East Moline United (East Moline, IL). The Silver Streaks record now stands at 2-5.

The Ironmen (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Hillcrest was nudged by East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL), 68-63, in a non-league contest.
