Miller Cardinals (Miller, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Verona Wildcats (Verona, MO), 50-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Miller upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Cardinals host Sarcoxie (Sarcoxie, MO) to play the Bears in a Southwest bout on Friday, December 16. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Greenfield Wildcats (Greenfield, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Verona will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
