California High School Basketball - Pittsburg overwhelms Mt. Diablo

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA) and the visiting Mt. Diablo Red Devils (Concord, CA), saw Pittsburg's basketball squad wallop Mt. Diablo by a tally of 98-69.

With the victory, Pittsburg improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA) to confront the Monarchs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Mt. Eden lost 53-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA)

Next up, the Red Devils confront the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 12. Mt. Diablo will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the outing with a 5-2 record after their 74-27 non-league win over Castlemont (Oakland, CA).
